What is Morning After Pill?

Most women have no idea what Plan B or Morning After Pill is for. This is used as an emergency contraception after you have engaged in unprotected sex - yes, that is sexual intercourse without any birth control used. Since it is STILL NOT a common practice here in the Philippines to use contraceptives such as birth control pills, injectibles, condoms, etc., there is a huge chance that women have unwanted pregnancies. Sometimes, these unwanted pregnancies become a welcome blessing, but for some, getting pregnant causes dread and tons of problems. Morning After Pill is a drug that you take in order to prevent implantation of the product of conception.

Take Note: This will not terminate your pregnancy if you are already pregnant; this is used to avoid getting pregnant and not for termination.

What are the brands available?

In the US and other countries where it is sold as Plan B, Escapelle, Levonelle, NorLevo, Postinor-2, i-pill, "Next Choice" and 72-HOURS, the Morning After Pill has the generic name of levonorgestrel.

How to take the morning after pill?

If it is the REAL morning after pill (Plan B, i-pill, 72-Hours, etc.), you only have to take one pill on the first dose and another pill for the second dose. BUT, since they are not available here in the Philippines, you have to take the alternative pill, in this case, Nordette.

Remember, this is to be taken within 5 days of unsafe sex. Any longer than that, then your chances of getting pregnant would be much higher. Still, it is best to take Nordette within 24 hours after unprotected sexual intercourse, for utmost effectiveness.

Nordette is to be taken in two doses:
1st Dose – Take 4 round,orange pills within 120 hours of intercourse
2nd Dose - Take 4 round, orange pills 12 hours after 1st dose

Again, NEVER take Nordette or any other birth control pill if you are ALREADY PREGNANT.

Are there any side effects?

Most users experience what most women experience when taking the pill: Light nausea, dizziness and sometimes vomiting. This is very much normal, and please don’t think that it is a sign of pregnancy already (hey, remember, you only had unprotected sex no more than 5 days ago, right?). If it works effectively, you will have your menstrual period much earlier than the usual.

Where to buy Nordette?

Nordette is available in leading drugstores. Mercury Drug or Watson’s should have it. It is an over-the-counter drug and you won’t need any prescription to buy it. As a matter of fact, now that you are sexually active, you should be using it regularly, not as an EC (emergency contraception) pill but a contraceptive or birth control pill.

It is best to consult your OB-GYN first before doing anything like this. PLUS, you should make sure that you are NOT PREGNANT. This is very unsafe for pregnant women. If you are already pregnant, then this “PLAN” is not for you. Maybe, you should go for PLAN C, whatever that may be.

I updated my Facebook to the Timeline profile 5 days ago. I say it's a bit complicated, it looks more like a fusion of a blog and a Friendster profile back then. :)

Here's how to update your Facebook profile to Timeline:

1. Log in to your Facebook.

2. Click this link.Click "Allow".

3. Click "Create New App".

4. On the "App Display Name", type anything (really, it doesn't matter); do the same with the "App Namespace". Click "Continue".

5. You will get verified as human and then you will be directed to a page, where you'll click "Open Graph".

6. You'll be directed to "Get Started With Open Graph" Page; fill in the blank fields with anything. (Again, this doesn't matter) Then click "Get Started".

7. On the "What are Action types" Page, scroll down and click "Save Changes and Next".

8. You'll be taken to the screen that says: "Open Graph". Wait 2-3 minutes, then go back to your Facebook Homepage.

9.On your Homepage, you'll see an invitation to use the Facebook Timeline. Of course, you have to accept the invitation. :D To do this, click "Get It Now".

I was a day late. All of a sudden, HP TouchPads are selling like hotcakes and it is because they're on sale! And a ridiculous sale, really! From around $500, HP TouchPad slashed its way down to $300, then just as recently as a day ago, its price dropped down to $99 for a 16GB and $149 for 32GB!

Now I'm trying to get it online (tried Best Buys, etc.) to no luck! But I heard it's still available on Barnes & Noble. I just wish there's a HP TouchPad Fire Sale in the UK or Singapore, too; two places where I can easily order one through my friends.

I know it is funny, but I found it really peculiar, and alarming. I thought my blog was hacked! "Oh, sweet baby Jesus," I mumbled. "What have they done? I really thought this is the end of me. First, my other blog was suspended in Adsense and now this. Thank heavens I'm just mistaken!

Are You Smarter Than A Fifth Grader?

I remember when I was in Grade 5. I know (or as forced to know) these things about Science, Math, History, Literature and Home Economics! Imagine, I learned how to mend holes on clothes while multiplying fractions; and had the answers to the questions: Who was the first Philippine president? Who wrote the national anthem? What is Mass? What is the square root of 654? Oh, that last one I don't really know.

But now, I have no idea what kids are talking about. I've helped my mom type test papers for fifth graders once, and I can't even recall that I had lessons on how to know the area of a triangle, who was shot dead over Tirad Pass and what's the Filipino word for 'better'. I can remember, though, that my teacher appointed me to be the Grade 5 representative to the Mister and Miss Kaparangan Elementary School. That's embarrassing enough to be forgotten, you see.

I even write like this when I was a fifth grader!

Today, I can't totally recall who's the Department of Education, Culture and Sports (now DepEd) secretary in 1991, but I guess I am lucky enough to remember how a pulley works and NaCl is simply table salt. I can't even remember the full list of today's House of Senate members.

Now I'm just thankful that I don't forget what my Facebook password is. Hmmm.... at least I can write a blog post that appears on Google search after a few minutes of getting published and make blogs that earn.

I guess for me, that's all that matters now. That is why I don't give much fuss about my son's grades. After all, he's only 9; and I don't think what he's studying now will be significant to what he wants to be. As of now, he wants to be a pastry chef, just like the Cake Boss on TLC.

Even though men like Tiger Woods and Jesse James seem to have it all: family, money and fame;they were still accused of going astray. Yes, cheating their wives. How come these 'perfectly happy' guys cheat? Why, in general, do men cheat?

A Nevada marriage and family therapist stated that almost 40% of men look for sex outside their relationships. And here are the reasons why they cheat:

1. They crave sexual variety. Men are such ***holes. They just evolve to desire to be with various women. And because they are not required to spend 9 months to reproduce, they tend to mate with as many women as they want. Ugh.

2. Unhappy marriages. Oh, really. And whose fault was that? Why are they unhappy in the first place? It's because they wanted to try something NEW!

3. Power Play. Rich, powerful men are more likely to cheat. They could get whoever they want; and women bite into their baits.

4. Boredom. Yeah. They can't seem to satisfy their boredom by playing Wii or watching football. So, they wander off and sleep with other equally bored women.

Hmm... Looks like men do not cheat because they fell in love with the other woman or things like that. Here in the Philippines, if your husband cheated, they'll say: "Natural lang yan sa lalaki" (That's just normal for a guy). And Filipino women will just ignore their husbands because it's "NORMAL"; and they don't want to ruin their families. They'll swallow everything because it's the norm. I don't know where we got an idea so stupid.

So, why do guys cheat? Because they think it's just normal. Because WE all think its normal. Maybe it's time to look at it like it's a very disgusting thing to do. Or that it was just 'so gay'. Maybe then the norm will change.

New Skyway Toll Rates

New Skyway toll rates will take effect on April 26, 2011. This means that Holy Week vacationers from the south will be paying higher fees since the Toll Regulatory Board (TRB) approved the latest toll hike for the Metro Manila Skyway.

Class 1 (Private) vehicles will have to pay P147 when they take the elevated portion of Skyway from Makati to Alabang and vice versa.

Buses or the Class 2 vehicles will have their tab at P294; while Class 3 vehicles, which include trucks will be paying P441.

"At Grade" portion, or the Skyway road below will have a toll fee of P106 for the Class 1 vehicles from the current P65.

The new Skyway toll rates are reported to be lower than the proposed hike submitted by Citra Metro Manila Tollways Corporation, the Skyway investor.

Little Rock, Ark. and Jackson, Miss. Tornadoes and Storm Leave At Least Nine Dead

Friday, April 15, 2011---At least nine people were killed, including three children, when violent storms ripped across Little Rock, Arkansas and Jackson, Mississippi Friday. The casualties were mainly caused by uprooted trees smashing into houses.

According to John Robinson, a National Weather Service meteorologist, trees were falling into houses.

Among the dead in Arkansas are two boys and an 18-month-old girl. In Oklahoma, two sisters were killed when the tornado hit their motor home.

In Alabama, at least four tornadoes were reported and officials said that more storms are expected tonight. Aside from this, severe storms also ran from Western Tennessee to Illinois early Friday evening, while a major tornado threat continues to run overnight across Alabama and Georgia.

Manila, PHILIPPINES- Former AFP Chief and Defense Secretary Angelo Reyes was found dead with a shot on his chest February 8, 2011 at 7:45 am. Reyes apparently committed suicide.

His death brought an end to his controversial political career, which was marred with a corruption scandal involving not less than 3 military officials during the Arroyo administration.

According to an eyewitness, Angelo Reyes said "sorry" before he killed himself.

Angelo Reyes was said to commit suicide in front of his mother's grave at the Loyola Memorial Park in Marikina City. He was declared dead at 8:30 am at the Quirino Hospital in Quezon City.

Nuns Dance 'Toyang' In Baguio

A group of nuns danced the 1993 Eraserheads' hit 'Toyang' last January 29 by the altar of Baguio City cathedral church. A representative said that the nuns, which are aged 25-80 years old, performed several dance numbers to catch attention and recruit new members.

“There is a dwindling [number] of [entrants] through the years. But because of this, we might be able to get recruits,” said Sr. Eva Vargas of the Villa Milagrosa Convent.

The Baguio dancing nuns also performed with “I Will Follow Him,” "I Have a Dream,” and “Our Mission,” a composition by Fr. Carlo Magno Marcelo of the San Carlos Seminary in Baguio.

What does a 650-pound grand piano doing at a sandbar in the middle of Biscayne Bay? Well, Miami officials aren't sure, as well. The heavy and positively expensive grand piano is perched at the highest sandbar spot to prevent it from getting drenched when the tide gets high.

Hmmm.... the piano seems like a good hang out for sea gulls, because the thing is not going anywhere. Wildlife Conservation Commission spokesman Jorge Pino says they are not responsible for moving such items. And the U.S. Coast Guard won't get involved in such matters like this, unless it becomes a navigational hazard.

Yogyakarta Crop Circles: UFO Visits A Rice Field In Sleman, Indonesia?

On Monday, January 24, 2011, a 70-meter-wide crop circle was spotted in a rice field in Sleman, Yogyakarta in Indonesia.

The said crop circles appeared in the middle of the green paddies and the pattern looks like an intricately designed flower.
According to reports, the Yogyakarta Crop Circles have drawn so much attention from thousands of curious visitors.

It has been rumored that the crop circles might be a UFO trace. “The circles were there since yesterday morning. I think they were left by an alien space ship, like one I saw in TV. It is impossible that this was made by the wind or any animal,” a Krasakan resident said.

While some residents claim that they saw a tornado on Saturday evening and have seen traces in their fields the following day, Budi Waluyo, head of the Meteorology, Climatology and Geology Agency in Yogyakarta, said that there were no records of tornado in the province nearby areas on Saturday and Sunday. And even if a tornado did occur, it would leave a distinctive snaking trail, not a crop circle, he also added.

Villagers are reportedly charging fees for those who wanted to see and take a photo of the area. There are vendors who sells blown up pictures of the Yogyakarta crop circles, too.

A report from Thomas Djamaluddin stated, “We will not send investigators to the scene because we suspect the crop circle involves human invention, not natural phenomena, nor scientific phenomena associated with outer space creatures commonly referred to as aliens.” Thomas Djamaluddin is the head of the Atmospheric Sciences and Chief of Astronomy Research at Indonesia's National Aeronautics and Space Agency.

New Flagdown Rate for Taxis for 2011

The LTFRB or Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board stated recently that the new flagdown rate for taxi cabs will be raised by P10 starting January 15, 2011. The LTFRB granted the Philippine National Taxi Operators Association's petition to increase the flagdown rate from P30 to P40. The new flagdown rate increase will be implemented nationwide except for the city of Baguio in Benguet, where the existing flagdown rate is P25 and will be raised to P30.

The new rate for the succeeding 300 meters will be P3.50 from the previous P2.50. An LTFRB rep said that only taxicabs that have metered receipts could avail of the fare hike.

The Share button has been very useful for sharing videos and links to Facebook users around the globe, and today, as of noon in the Philippines, the Facebook Share button just disappears without explanation from the developers/ administration of the said social networking site.

"Some users are in panic as they are assuming that the websites have removed the share button. One such website is YouTube which had the share button an hour back and is not present any more," said online news portal BuzzingUp, which has likewise been affected by the bug.

Twitter updates have been bugged by questions regarding the disappearance of the Share button.

Makati Firecracker Ban

The City of Makati imposed a firecracker ban in three villages near First Philippine Industrial Corp. (FPIC). Makati Mayor Jojo Binay said that firecrackers may cause fires in the three barangays, which are traversed by the FPIC pipeline that conducts fuel oil from refineries in Batangas to the Pandacan oil depot in Manila. Petroleum from the pipeline continues to leak in the basement of West Tower condominium in Bangkal.

Citing the risk to the health of residents in the area, the city government said the ban on the sale, manufacture, storage, possession or use of firecrackers, pyrotechnic devices and explosive materials will cover Bangkal, Pio Del Pilar, and Magallanes villages.

Violators of the Firecracker Ban in Makati will face a fine of P5,000 or six months of imprisonment.

Let me tell you about that scene:

Ron snapped up on Harry having no plan at all. Harry snapped back and told Ron to leave if he wanted to. Ron asked Hermione if she'll go with him. Hermione didn't. Ron left and of course, Hermione went sad. To make Hermione happy, Harry asked her to dance when a song came up on the radio. Eventually, after the dance, Hermione went back to being sad, and moped at a corner.

Adopted Kids From China, Haiti, and Ethiopia Become U.S. Citizens

Recently, 18 children from Ethiopia, Haiti, China, and other countries were sworn in as U.S. citizens in New York City.

The adopted kids include Jillian, a four-year old Chinese-born girl. Four-year-old Mirette Franklin from Ethiopia recites Pledge of Allegiance.

On November 18, these children were granted US Citizenships and now living with their new loving families.

November 20 is National Adoption Day. The children from different parts of the world stood proud with their new parents after receiving their naturalization certificates.

Adoption is being encouraged by different organizations, government or non-government. I posted earlier that the rumors about Eva Longoria and Tony Parker's filing for divorce were untrue. But another news had surfaced and it says that Eva and Tony was indeed getting divorced after three years of marriage.

Source said that Eva Longoria was devastated to learn that hubby Tony Parker has been texting Erin Berry, a common friend, and wife of Tony's ex-team mate Brent Barry. Eva discovered hundreds of personal text messages exchanged between Tony and Erin.

Erin Berry is currently divorcing his husband of twelve years. She was born to a single teenage mother and later adopted by an Irish/Polish family. She got married to Brent in 1998 in San Francisco.

Brent Barry's father, NBA Hall of Famer Rick Barry, told the site: "I feel horrible for my son. I'm in shock. I knew [Erin] was moving out of the house soon and SHE was the one that filed for divorce. This is the straw that broke the camel's back.

Ryan Agoncillo and Judy Ann Santos-Agoncillo's first biological child 'Lucho' was baptized Sunday, November 14, 2010. The baby's photo is then shared to public for the first time.

Lucho's baptismal was held at Sacred Heart Parish, Hillsborough, Alabang and was presided by Fr. Tito Caluag. Reception followed in a Global City resto.

Ryan said that they (he and wife Judy Ann) were just following an old superstition, that's why they decided to release baby Lucho's photo after the baptismal.

November 29 is a regular non-working holiday.

It is the second holiday declared by Malacañang this month, first being the November 16 holiday for Eid'l Adha, and the first to follow former President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo's policy of holiday economics, which allows the President to move non-religious holidays to the nearest Monday. Bonifacio Day actually falls on November 30, a Tuesday.

3 Filipinos Killed in Dubai Fire

Three Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) were killed when a fire tore down their apartment in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates over the weekend.

"The three fatalities were asleep in one room together with two of the survivors, who managed to escape through the window," the DFA said, citing a report from Philippine Consul General Benito Valeriano.

The names of the victims are yet to be disclosed until their respective kins are informed about the incident.

Aside from the three killed by the fire, 2 others suffered minor injuries and one suffered second-degree burns all over the body. The last one is now confined and getting treatment the at Surgical Intensive Care Unit of Al Rashid.

She had posed nude for magazines in the past, including the one for Rolling Stone magazine Australia, which she posed unclothed and chained into a tree. The issue was intended to increase public awareness for koalas.

She married actor Orlando Bloom last July in a very secret and intimate wedding, that even Paparazzis were caught off-guard. She announced that she was four months pregnant with Bloom last August.

The 27-year old pregnant posed nude for W magazine and talked about raising a family.

Asked by W Magazine about her plans in returning to work after giving birth, Miranda Kerr said that she feels no pressure to get back to work.

I found these quirky but easy Halloween costumes that can be done in a snap.

Shot in the Dark
Drape yourself in black fabric. Take an old black sheet or length of fabric and cut a hole in the center. The hole should be big enough for your head to slide through. Wear a black belt. Use a hot glue gun to attach some black yarn or cord to a shot glass. Tell anyone who asks that you are a "shot in the dark." Alternatively, you could dress in all black if you do not have black fabric.

Game Show Contestant
Wear a dressy outfit and a nametag. Handwrite your name in large print on the tag. Talk in question form all night. Or ask your friends for a certain category or tell them you want to buy a vowel. You could carry a goofy prize around all night and tell everyone you won.

Indonesia Tsunami Kills 113; More Missing

Hundreds of houses were destroyed by waves after the 7.7 magnitude quake, which struck 20km (13 miles) under the ocean floor near the Mentawai islands in Indonesia.

Ten villages on the islands were swept away by the tsunami, a disaster official told the AFP news agency.

Damage and rough weather are delaying efforts to reach the affected area.

Hendri Dori Satoko, a lawmaker in the Mentawai islands, told Metro TV: "Our latest data from crisis centre showed that 113 people have been killed and 502 are still missing."

He said some of the missing could have fled to higher ground and were afraid to return to their homes.

Meanwhile, Philippine President Noynoy Aquino offers help to victims of Indonesia Tsunami. He says that he will send help and rescue force to help locate the other victims of the tsunami in Indonesia.

GMA, fondly known as Kapuso Network, shows the heart of the Filipino through series of inspiring stories.Dubbed as “Isang Pagkilala sa Puso ng Pilipino Ngayong Pasko," the stories tell the real-life tales of Filipinos who, by sharing what they can, have made a difference in the lives of many.Starring in the vignettes are three of GMA’s biggest and most renowned Kapuso stars: Dingdong Dantes, Marian Rivera and Richard Gutierrez.

The Plot
Richard plays Ed, a US immigrant based in Las Vegas, Nevada, whose heart remains very Filipino. With his wife, he personally packs balikbayan boxes with toys and school supplies and ships these at Christmas time to children in different provinces. Marian portrays Mila, a woman who literally opens her home to the less fortunate. Mila welcomes the Season of Advent by selling Christmas decors in her garage. She uses the money she earns to prepare food and feed more than 200 families on New Year’s Eve. Meanwhile, Dingdong is cast as Jose, a modern day Christmas angel. Jose spends Christmas Eve going to different hospitals in Metro Manila, paying the bills of indigent patients unable to afford treatment. When the surprised families of these patients ask to thank him in person, they are told by hospital staffers that Jose has already left.

Kayo ba ay minsan ring nalimutan ng pamahalaang inyong iniluklok sa puwesto? Ako rin. Kayo ba ay nagtiis na sa trapiko para lamang masingitan ng isang naghahari-hariang de-wangwang sa kalsada? Ako rin. Kayo ba ay sawang-sawa na sa pamahalaang sa halip na magsilbi sa taumbayan ay kailangan pa nila itong pagpasensiyahan at tiisin? Ako rin.

Katulad ninyo ako. Marami na sa atin ang bumoto gamit ang kanilang paa – nilisan na nila ang ating bansa sa kanilang paghahanap ng pagbabago at katahimikan. Tiniis nila ang hirap, sinugod ang panganib sa ibang bansa dahil doon may pag-asa kahit kaunti na dito sa atin ay hindi nila nakikita. Sa iilang sandali na sarili ko lang ang aking inaalala, pati ako ay napag-isip din – talaga bang hindi na mababago ang pamamahala natin dito? Hindi kaya nasa ibang bansa ang katahimikang hinahanap ko? Saan ba nakasulat na kailangang puro pagtitiis ang tadhana ng Pilipino?

Ngayon, sa araw na ito – dito magwawakas ang pamumunong manhid sa mga daing ng taumbayan. Hindi si Noynoy ang gumawa ng paraan, kayo ang dahilan kung bakit ngayon, magtatapos na ang pagtitiis ng sambayanan. Ito naman ang umpisa ng kalbaryo ko, ngunit kung marami tayong magpapasan ng krus ay kakayanin natin ito, gaano man kabigat.

Sa tulong ng wastong pamamahala sa mga darating na taon, maiibsan din ang marami nating problema. Ang tadhana ng Pilipino ay babalik sa tamang kalagayan, na sa bawat taon pabawas ng pabawas ang problema ng Pinoy na nagsusumikap at may kasiguruhan sila na magiging tuloy-tuloy na ang pagbuti ng kanilang sitwasyon.

Kami ay narito para magsilbi at hindi para maghari. Ang mandato ninyo sa amin ay pagbabago – isang malinaw na utos para ayusin ang gobyerno at lipunan mula sa pamahalaang iilan lamang ang nakikinabang tungo sa isang pamahalaang kabutihan ng mamamayan ang pinangangalagaan.

Ang mandatong ito ay isa kung saan kayo at ang inyong pangulo ay nagkasundo para sa pagbabago – isang paninindigan na ipinangako ko noong kampanya at tinanggap ninyo noong araw ng halalan.

Sigaw natin noong kampanya: “Kung walang corrupt, walang mahirap.” Hindi lamang ito pang slogan o pang poster – ito ang mga prinsipyong tinatayuan at nagsisilbing batayan ng ating administrasyon.

Ang ating pangunahing tungkulin ay ang magsikap na maiangat ang bansa mula sa kahirapan, sa pamamagitan ng pagpapairal ng katapatan at mabuting pamamalakad sa pamahalaan.

Ang unang hakbang ay ang pagkakaroon ng tuwid at tapat na hanay ng mga pinuno. Magsisimula ito sa akin. Sisikapin kong maging isang mabuting ehemplo. Hinding hindi ko sasayangin ang tiwalang ipinagkaloob ninyo sa akin. Sisiguraduhin ko na ganito rin ang adhikain ng aking Gabinete at ng mga magiging kasama sa ating pamahalaan.

Naniniwala akong hindi lahat ng nagsisilbi sa gobyerno ay corrupt. Sa katunayan, mas marami sa kanila ay tapat. Pinili nilang maglingkod sa gobyerno upang gumawa ng kabutihan. Ngayon, magkakaroon na sila ng pagkakataong magpakitang-gilas. Inaasahan natin sila sa pagsupil ng korapsyon sa loob mismo ng burukrasya.

Sa mga itinalaga sa paraang labag sa batas, ito ang aking babala: sisimulan natin ang pagbabalik ng tiwala sa pamamagitan ng pag-usisa sa mga “midnight appointments.” Sana ay magsilbi itong babala sa mga nag-iisip na ipagpatuloy ang baluktot na kalakarang nakasanayan na ng marami.

Sa mga kapuspalad nating mga kababayan, ngayon, ang pamahalaan ang inyong kampeon.

Hindi natin ipagpapaliban ang mga pangangailangan ng ating mga estudyante, kaya’t sisikapin nating punan ang kakulangan sa ating mga silid-aralan.

Unti-unti din nating babawasan ang mga kakulangan sa imprastraktura para sa transportasyon, turismo at pangangalakal. Mula ngayon, hindi na puwede ang “puwede na” pagdating sa mga kalye, tulay at gusali dahil magiging responsibilidad ng mga kontratista ang panatilihing nasa mabuting kalagayan ang mga proyekto nila.

Bubuhayin natin ang programang “emergency employment” ng dating pangulong Corazon Aquino sa pagtatayo ng mga bagong imprastraktura na ito. Ito ay magbibigay ng trabaho sa mga local na komunidad at makakatulong sa pagpapalago ng kanila at ng ating ekonomiya.

Hindi kami magiging sanhi ng inyong pasakit at perwisyo. Palalakasin natin ang koleksyon at pupuksain natin ang korapsyon sa Kawanihan ng Rentas Internas at Bureau of Customs para mapondohan natin ang ating mga hinahangad para sa lahat, tulad ng:

· dekalidad na edukasyon, kabilang ang edukasyong bokasyonal para makapaghanap ng marangal na trabaho ang hindi makapag-kolehiyo;

· serbisyong pangkalusugan, tulad ng Philhealth para sa lahat sa loob ng tatlong taon;

· tirahan sa loob ng mga ligtas na komunidad.

Palalakasin at palalaguin natin ang bilang ng ating kasundaluhan at kapulisan, hindi para tugunan ang interes ng mga naghahari-harian, ngunit para proteksyunan ang mamamayan. Itinataya nila ang kanilang buhay para mayroong pagkakataon sa katahimikan at kapayapaan sa sambayanan. Dumoble na ang populasyong kanilang binabantayan, nanatili naman sila sa bilang. Hindi tama na ang nagmamalasakit ay kinakawawa.

Kung dati ay may fertilizer scam, ngayon ay may kalinga na tunay para sa mga magsasaka. Tutulungan natin sila sa irigasyon, extension services, at sa pagbenta ng kanilang produkto sa pinakamataas na presyong maaari.

Papaigtingin namin ang proseso ng konsultasyon at pag-uulat sa taumbayan. Sisikapin naming isakatuparan ang nakasaad sa ating Konstitusyon na kinikilala ang karapatan ng mamamayan na magkaroon ng kaalaman ukol sa mga pampublikong alintana.

Binuhay natin ang diwa ng people power noong kampanya. Ipagpatuloy natin ito tungo sa tuwid at tapat na pamamahala. Ang naniniwala sa people power ay nakatuon sa kapwa at hindi sa sarili.

Sa mga nang-api sa akin, kaya ko kayong patawarin, at pinapatawad ko na kayo. Sa mga nang-api sa sambayanan, wala akong karapatan na limutin ang inyong mga kasalanan.

Have you seen the pilot episode of Magkaribal last night, June 28? Well, I haven't. I actually forgot to watch Magkaribal's first episode because I am re-reading The Hunger Games. So, I've decided to watch Magkaribal online.

Magkaribal is a Philippine drama about love, fashion, and family. Cast includes Bea Alonzo as Angela/Gelai Agustin, Gretchen Barretto as Ana/Victoria Valera, Derek Ramsay as Louie Villarama, Erich Gonzales as Chloe Adella, Enchong Dee as Caloy Javier and Angel Aquino as Vera Cruz.

Honestly, I don't really know who Dr. Phyllis is and why are people so intrigued about him or her getting arrested or what.

After doing some online research, I found out that Dr. Phyllis is a she, and she's a contestant in Oprah Winfrey's 'Your Own Show' contest. Dr. Phyllis was the one who who proposes a reality show on teachers because the drama is in the classroom.

There are no online reports regarding the 'rumor' about Dr. Phyllis. I say rumor because we are yet to prove it. Maybe it's a hoax, just to make the voters of the contest pull out from supporting her, or maybe it's true, that she really was arrested for PCP possession in 1998. Until evidences surface, we will never prove it.
